Mom Kari married first with Willy and had a daughter - Gunn Marita.  Her 2nd marriage was with Alf, and she had another daughter - Gry Susann.

Now she is married with Raymond - and fortunately I will not get any 'rug-rats' to look after because they are too old for that now!

In 1998 mother Kari quit her job as logistics manager in Agfa-Gevaert AS Norway, sold her house and went to Spain to learn the culture and the language.  She ended up in Jerez at a place which used to be called Hotel Monte Alto.  Together with 30 others she was instructed in the Spanis language and tourism.  She also traveled around and then later saw a place where she became a resident - and found her dreamland in Chipiona where she bought an attached house right next to the beach.

But to learn a whole new language when a person is grown-up, is not the same as when you were young.  So now and then she visited the neighboring city of Rota where there were Americans and some Norwegian girls. It was one of them, Linda, who thought that the American Ray and mom Kari would be a perfect match together, and she got the 2 of them to meet.
