Hi ! My name is Roman, and I am what humans call a Tuxedo Cat (black and white). I don't remember too much about where I used to live. I guess that's because it wasn't a friendly place. I do remember being in a place where there were a whole lot of other critters and we were all in separate cages .. just waiting for someone to love us.
That's where I met my human who they called Pattie. She took me from my cage and held me sooo close. I really didn't like being held, but I had a feeling something good was going to happen to me, and it did. She took me to a new place and I knew this was where I belonged. Everything was nice for a long time, just Pattie, another human called Anuska and me.
Then one day, 2 more humans came to live with us and 3 strange looking things came into my territory. The humans call them Chanty, Tio and Bordeaux. I didn't like it too much when I first met them, especially the black one, he scares me. The little tan one pays no attention to me, so that's O.K. But, the grey and white one wants to be my friend, and that's OK if he would just not be so jumpy and excited. But he is nice.
We all live together in a new home. They live down the stairs, and I live up the stairs. Sometimes I sneak down there when I think they are sleeping so I can check things out. Maybe some day, if the black one gets to like me a little more, I could visit them more often. But for now, we have our own living spaces, and I love my new humans and my home.
